Hex Beam Wires Page
I will document the construction of the spreader cords and element wires for the Hex Beam antenna.

Here I am prepping the copper tubing piece for use as a crimp collar.
I am using 1/4" soft copper and am drilling it out.

After drilling a de-burring tool was used to chamfer the ends,
A 1/4" hole was drilled 3/16" deep in the board to support the piece of copper

With the tubing held in the hole the cord can be started through the collar

I finish by pulling the cord through and then crimping with the 50A portion of the Andy Crimp® tool

The finished end of the cord.
