Underside of the new floor. Floor is made from 12g mild steel. Two pieces of 1 x 1/8 strap were welded in to keep the plate as flat as possible as well as making it sturdy enough that I could stand on it while working. Yes, the oven is big enough for me to sit or crouch in it while doing the construction. Vents for the planned recirculation were cut with the plasma cutter. I used the wood template to guide me. I can't cut straight to save my life...
